If you're losing your soul and you know it, then you've still got a soul left to lose.

1-3: William Eggleston, 4-5: Hal Sear

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll.
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.
- Invictus, William Ernest Henley

Well if you want to know me, I'm a war.

“The faces, behind the skin, between this world and the next. Their teeth and their claws coming out, trying to break through. The moment I saw you I knew it’d be the closest i’d get to being close. I didn’t know what to do with that feeling, happiness. But they know now! And they’re hungry. Really fucking hungry. Because, for as long as I know they’ve been chasing me. And now they’re ready, now they’re strong enough to break through. And I can’t fight them. I used to be able to when I was strong, but you’ve made me weak. And now I can’t, I can’t. They’re ready now, they’re coming.”
-Effy Stonem, Skins

Last night's episode was amazing, wasn't it?

And I'll tell ya, things aren't quite the same when I'm rushing on my run and I feel just like Jesus' son, and I guess that I just don't know.

Isn't the final picture just amazing? The colours, the amusing paganism of it all.
Leon Diaper has really managed to capture a beautiful moment there.

Has God forgotten all I have done for Him.

After all, I am the fucking King of France.

All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream.

Each year, Central Saint Martins manages to produce an array of talented designers with a brand new perspective on fashion and design. The 'boundaries' of fashion have been broken by it's illustrious alumni, which include names like Phoebe Philo, Hussein Chalayan, Giles Deacon, Marios Schwab, Alexander McQueen and John Galliano, just to name a few. These names have since become synonymous with innovative fashion design and have elevated this field into an art, thus challenging our very perception of design, textile and structure.
The designers whose collections have been previewed by Dazed and Confused show a high degree of skill and talent. Although it was exceedingly difficult for me to choose a favourite, I did favour Thomas Tait's designs. The structure and silhouette of his designs echoes the design aesthetic of the Jil Sander and Martin Margiela, whom I love.

You can read the interviews of the CSM graduates here.

Hell of a damn grave. Wish it were mine.
