Children show scars like medals. Lovers use them as secrets to reveal. A scar is what happens when the word is made flesh.

Hiroshima Mon Amour

“Like you, I too have struggled with all my might not to forget. Like you, I forgot. Like you, I longed for a memory beyond consolation, a memory of shadows and stone. For my part I struggled every day with all my might against the horror of no longer understanding the reason to remember. Like you, I forgot. Why deny the obvious necessity of remembering? Listen to me. I know something else. It will begin again.”
- Hiroshima Mon Amour, 1959.

Whether by knife or whether by gun, losing your life can sometimes be fun.

Michael Pitt

"I was a scapegoat, but not in the sense that people picked on me all the time. They didn't pick on me or beat me up because I was already so withdrawn by that time. I was so antisocial that I was almost insane. I felt so different and so crazy that people just left me alone. I wouldn't have been surprised if they had voted me Most Likely To Kill Everyone At A High School Dance."
- Kurt Cobain in an interview to Jon Savage

How can you not fall in love with a man who lusts over Rive Phoenix and Kurt Cobain?

In the depth of winter I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer.

Art: Egon Schiele, Jackson Pollock

I've realized that I do not want to buried in a coffin. All my life I've wanted to be something different, something unpredictable that could never be caught and trapped in a box.
Then, finally at the end of the very 'life' you've spent trying to spin a colourful tapestry of unrestrained colour, your efforts are burnt to smithereens, and you're put back into a box by people who never really knew or understood you.

All those who had ever loved me, you will know what do with my ashes.

Men love in haste, but they detest at leisure.

I hate this. I can neither see nor comment on anyone's blogposts.
My days seem to be getting more and more unbearable, don't they? I'm utterly frustrated and I apologise for not being able to comment, but I simply cannot help it. Hopefully, the fucking internet will sort itself out.

There will always be something to ruin our lives, it all depends on what or which finds us first. We are always ripe and ready to be taken.

Jon Savage

“I believe that I am in hell, therefore I am there.”
- Arthur Rimbaud.

Anger froths mercilessly, like a bitter poison through my veins.
Everything around me seems to have a hypnotic, mercurial effect.
I see people next to me, and I hate them.

I see them away from me, yet I still hate them.
Leave, leave, leave right now.
Never turn back and return again.
