it is a good idea cause frida was truly remarkable in every respect, but it's always tough when you're recreating someone...personally, i think the shoot is beautiful and the stying is amazing, although i don't see claudia having the same presence as you sense in frida in her paintings - but that may just be me...

Yeah. I agree with you completely. I liked this photoshoot because of the thought that had gone in it. The photography is excellent.
I think he should have used Salma Hayek in this shoot. Maybe it's just me, but I find it difficult to imagine anyone but Salma potraying her.

yes, well lagerfeld can hardly go much wrong can he.. but i agree, i find claudia almost too, um, soft, for this part, whilst salma was very good in portraying frida...
